A vacancy has arisen for an Operations Officer on a reduced-hour contract (30 hours).

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Operations and will form part of a team who is responsible for ensuring high-level efficiency in the day-to-day administrative task of both JMFA as well as Merill Sicav.

Responsibilities will include:

• Issuance of contract note
• Reconciliation of holdings
• Provider / Clients settlement
• Regulatory reporting
• System maintenance
• Internal transfer of assets
• Processing of new bond issues & IPOs
• Mail shots
• Corporate actions
• Issuance of Valuation of assets
• Processing purchase and sale orders with Fund managers
• General administration tasks to support the team and management

Applicants will be considered if they are in possession of:

• Banking and Finance diploma (or similar)
• Experience within the financial services industry will be considered an asset
• Fluent with all Microsoft applications especially excel
