The MSE Share Index rose by 2.71%, rising from 5285 to 5428. The Index as at year to date is up 8.97%. Six equities registered gains this week. The top gainer was Lombard, gaining 7.48%. Other gainers were BOV, gaining 1.27%, HSBC, gaining 4.76%, Simonds Farsons Cisk, gaining 5.26%, Maltacom, gaining 2.10% and Global Capital, gaining 1.48%. The only negative performer was Middlesea Insurance, losing 1.87%. Suncrest, IHI, Plaza, FIMBank, MIA and Datatrak reported no changes in their share price.
