The MSE Share Index fell by 2.4% from 5454 to 5323. The index as at year to date is up 6.87%. Just two equities registered gains this week. The top gainer was IHI, rising by 3.08% followed by Plaza which rose by 1.54%. Five equities performed negatively. HSBC was the top loser, shedding 5%, followed by Global Capital which lost 1.78%, BOV which lost 1.76%, Maltacom which lost 0.51% and Lombard which lost 0.17%. Middlesea Insurance, Simonds Farsons Cisk, Suncrest, FIMBank, MIA and Datatrak reported no changes in their share price.
