The ECB’s Governing Council leaves the minimum bid rate unchanged

At today’s meeting the Governing Council of the ECB decided that the minimum bid rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rates on the marginal lending facility and the deposit facility will remain unchanged at 4.25%, 5.25% and 3.25% respectively.

The President of the ECB will comment on the considerations underlying these decisions at a press conference starting at 2.30 p.m. CET today.

Fil-laqgħa ta’ llum, il-Kunsill Governattiv tal-BĊE iddeċieda li r-rata minima ta’ l-offerta fuq l-operazzjonijiet prinċipali ta’ rifinanzjament u r-rati ta’ l-imgħax fuq il-faċilità ta’ self marġinali u fuq il-faċilità tad-depożitu ser jibqgħu l-istess jiġifieri 4.25%, 5.25% u 3.25% rispettivament.
