The Treasury announces that by the closing date, at 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday 12th June 2018, the total value of applications (Category “A” and “B”) received in the 62+ Malta Government Savings Bond – Issue 2018 was just above €93 million. The authorised sum on issue was of Euro 65 million, and subject to an over-allotment option of an additional maximum amount of Euro 35 million.

The Treasury will exercise its over-allotment option such that the aggregate amount to be allocated will be increased and all applications in respect of Category “A” and “B” compliant with the terms of the prospectus will be satisfied and allocated in full.  

A detailed final result will be published and communicated through another press release and published on the Treasury’s website after the vetting of applications for compliance with the provisions of the prospectus has been completed.
