New Issue – Malta Government Stocks

The Accountant General is offering an aggregate nominal amount of €150m of Malta Government Stocks, which are being offered and made available in any one or a combination of the following three Stocks:

  • 2.60% Malta Government Stock 2028 (V) at €102.50 which corresponds to an annualised rate of 2.154%;
  • 2.90% Malta Government Stock 2032 (VI) at €101.75 which corresponds to an annualised rate of 2.722%;
  • 3.40% Malta Government Stock 2042 (I) at €102.25 which corresponds to an annualised rate of 3.273%.

Jesmond Mizzi Financial Advisors Ltd (JMFA) is participating in this issue as one of the Authorised Financial Intermediaries and is currently accepting applications for this offer. The minimum subscription amount for each application has been set at €5,000 for existing JMFA clients up to a maximum amount of €100,000 nominal per person (in multiples of €100) in any or each of the three stocks.

A €25 fee applies for direct applications.

Applications for retail investors not exceeding €100,000, open at 08:00 hrs on July 11, 2022 and close at 14:30 hrs on July 13, 2022, or earlier in the case of an over-subscription.
