Lombard Bank Malta plc – Interim Financial Statements

Lombard Bank Malta plc announced that in a meeting of the Board of Directors held on 26 August 2008, the attached Group and Bank unaudited Condensed Interim Financial Statements fror the six-month period ended 30 June 2008 were approved.

Lombard Bank Malta plc experienced a profit before tax of EUR 7.76 million, 60% more over the same period in 2007, Net Interest Income of EUR 6.76 million (an increase of 9.8% over the same period of last year), and Loans and Advances to Customers at EUR 284.53 million (a rise of 9.3% over 31 December 2007).
