Malta Government Stocks – November 2025 Issue

The Government of Malta will be launching a new issue of Malta Government Stocks as detailed hereunder:

 

Retail Investors’ Non-Competitive Offer (Fixed Price)

Retail investors are being offered to acquire anyone or any combination of the following three stocks at a pre-announced fixed price:

  • 2.55% Malta Government Stock 2030 (V)
  • 3.40% Malta Government Stock 2035 (IV) Fungibility Issue and
  • 3.80% Malta Government Stock 2040 (II) Fungibility Issue

 

Wholesale Investors’ Competitive Offer (Auction)

Wholesale investors are being offered to acquire anyone or any combination of the following two stocks through a competitive auction:

  • 2.55% Malta Government Stock 2030 (V)
  • 3.40% Malta Government Stock 2035 (IV) Fungibility Issue and
  • 3.80% Malta Government Stock 2040 (II) Fungibility Issue

 

The total amount to be raised from any one or any combination of the three Malta Government Stocks shall be €350 million in aggregate. The Accountant General reserves the right to increase the amount by up to an additional €100 million in the event of oversubscription.

 

The fixed prices for each Malta Government Stock will be announced by the Accountant General on Thursday, 13 November 2025, after the close of trading on the Malta Stock Exchange. The prices will be published through a press release by the Department of Information and on the Treasury’s website.
