The MSE Share Index rose by 3.48%, rising from 5449 to 5638. The Index as at year to date is up 13.20%. Eight equities registered gains this week. The top gainer was HSBC rising by 7.31% followed by Plaza which gained 6.44%. Other gainers were BOV, gaining 1.23%, Lombard, gaining 1.8%, Middlesea Insurance, gaining 1.57%, Maltacom, gaining 0.45%, FIMBank, gaining 1.05% and MIA gained 1.71%. The only negative performer was Global Capital which lost 2.33%. Simonds Farsons Cisk, Suncrest, IHI and Datatrak holdings reported no changes in their share price.
